Various Promotional Activities Before and After the Holiday
Mokpo City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Park Hongryul), announced on the 20th that it held an "Integrity Campaign" at the main entrance of City Hall on the 17th to foster and spread a culture of integrity within the public sector ahead of the Lunar New Year.
This campaign saw the participation of Mayor Park Hongryul, the public officials' labor union, and staff members, who distributed promotional materials containing messages of integrity to public officials arriving for work. The aim was to raise awareness of integrity among public servants and emphasize its importance. The city will continue various promotional activities to create an atmosphere of integrity in the public sector before and after the holiday.

Main activities include: ▲Issuing an integrity advisory during periods vulnerable to corruption ▲Installing promotional signs for "No giving or receiving gifts during holidays" ▲Posting letters on integrity ▲Operating a focused reporting period for violations of the Code of Conduct for Public Officials. Through these efforts, the city strives to prevent corruption and establish a culture of integrity throughout the public sector.
Mayor Park Hongryul stated, "This year's Lunar New Year comes at a time of economic difficulty and complex domestic political circumstances, making it more important than ever for public officials to take the lead in demonstrating integrity," adding, "We will realize a Mokpo City administration that earns the trust of citizens by addressing civil complaints promptly and providing swift support to those in need."
