Seventeen people, including Vice Mayor Lee Jung-woo, city council members, and tourism experts, attended the meeting, sharing various opinions and communicating for the development of Chisan Tourist Site.

In particular, discussions and debates were held on reflecting new tourism trends considering the connectivity with existing tourism resources such as the Chisan camping site and parking lot.

The Chisan Tourist Site area currently has tourism infrastructure such as Chisan Camping Site, Chisan Valley, public restrooms, and parking lots, but long-term development has been halted due to the lack of private investment and the existing tourism site development plan that does not fit current conditions.

The city plans to accelerate the establishment of a basic plan for creating a cultural and recreational complex linked with the abundant tourism resources of the clean area of Chisan Tourist Site through this service.

Vice Mayor Lee Jung-woo said, “I hope that a systematic and sustainable tourism infrastructure will be established by utilizing the regional characteristics of Chisan Tourist Site, which is frequently visited by many tourists,” and added, “I hope Chisan Tourist Site will further develop through a thorough review of tourism facility plans and ideas for tourists.”
