Scholarships for 10 Outstanding Low-Income Students

The event was organized as a meaningful occasion where students and faculty members practiced the spirit of warm sharing and consideration together, with about 10 attendees including Special Vice President Jeon Jong-guk and Student Council executives.
In particular, Student Council President Kim Hee-sook presented a scholarship of 1 million won to a representative student, and Special Vice President Jeon Jong-guk personally delivered 109 bags of 10kg rice.
'DCU Love of 1,000 Won' is an annual sharing project hosted by the Student Council, funded by voluntary donations of 1,000 won or more from students and faculty members.
The fund is used to provide academic opportunities to economically disadvantaged students and to promote a culture of sharing.
This year, the Love Scholarship of 1,000 Won raised a total of 1 million won, and plans to select 10 low-income students with excellent academic performance to receive scholarships of 100,000 won each.
Additionally, 109 bags of 10kg rice will be provided to a total of 109 students, including basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income groups.
Special Vice President Jeon Jong-guk said, “I hope that through Daegu Cyber University's representative sharing activities, we can contribute to guaranteeing the learning rights of low-income students and spreading a warm sense of community.”
