Uijeongbu-si Holds Public Debate on Welfare Policies for 'Care for All'

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) held the "Uijeongbu City Welfare Policy Public Forum" on the 19th at the city hall auditorium, attended by over 120 social welfare institution officials and public servants.

At this event, the development direction of care policies and Uijeongbu City's welfare brand "Moduui Dolbom" (Care for All) were introduced, and the current welfare status was reviewed. Additionally, time was spent communicating and reflecting on future policy directions to improve citizens' quality of life.

The forum began with an opening address by Mayor Kim Dong-geun, followed by a keynote presentation by Professor Yoon Chun-mo of the Department of Social Welfare at Kyungmin University, and a thematic presentation by Jeong Seong-yoon, Secretary-General of the Uijeongbu City Hope Recovery Comprehensive Support Center.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun stated, "This public forum will be a meaningful occasion marking a new turning point in Uijeongbu City's welfare," and added, "We will continue to promote various projects through public-private cooperation to realize 'Moduui Dolbom Uijeongbu City'."
