Daewoo E&C announced on the 16th that it has been selected as the construction company for the 'Samik Mansion Apartment Reconstruction and Maintenance Project' located at 270 Myeongil-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. The Samik Mansion Apartment Reconstruction and Maintenance Project involves rebuilding a multi-family housing complex with 11 buildings, ranging from 3 basement floors to 35 above-ground floors, totaling 1,147 households on a site of 41,691㎡. The total construction cost amounts to approximately 527.8 billion KRW.

Daewoo E&C proposed the complex name 'Summit Eastige' for the Samik Mansion Apartment Reconstruction and Maintenance Project. The name combines Daewoo E&C's high-end brand 'Summit' with 'East,' representing Gangdong, and 'Prestige,' meaning dignity. The name reflects Daewoo E&C's commitment to creating the finest high-end quality and establishing the best landmark in Gangdong.

Summit Eastige plans to incorporate a naturalistic garden within the complex through collaboration with Bart Hous, known for emotional landscape design that heals the mind. The top floors will feature a sky community, including a grand sky community, sky lounge, and sky guest house. Additionally, a grand central plaza and a 1.5 km walking trail circling the complex will be created.

With Summit Eastige, Daewoo E&C has been selected as the construction company for seven urban maintenance projects in 2024. The cumulative construction cost totals 2.9823 trillion KRW.
