LX Hausys Included in 'DJSI Korea Index' for 10 Consecutive Years

On the 17th, LX Hausys announced that it has been included in the 'Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) Korea Index' for 10 consecutive years.

LX Hausys was the only domestic interior company included in the '2024 DJSI Korea Index' announced by the global financial information provider 'S&P Global.'

With this, LX Hausys has been included in the 'DJSI Korea Index' for 10 consecutive years since 2015, and it is also the only domestic interior company to maintain inclusion for 10 consecutive years, further solidifying its status as a leading company in ESG management.

The DJSI index, announced by S&P Global for 25 years since 1999, is widely used as an indicator that comprehensively evaluates the level of sustainable management by considering a company's economic performance and ESG aspects. This year, environmental management-related items were subdivided into water, waste, energy management systems, etc., resulting in a more rigorous evaluation.

LX Hausys received excellent evaluations in areas such as environmental policy and management, climate strategy, safety management, human capital management, crisis management, and information security. In particular, it earned high scores for obtaining environmental management system certification, disclosing the scope of the environmental management system, managing greenhouse gases, and operating employee education and competency development programs related to environmental management.

Regarding greenhouse gas management, LX Hausys reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by about 6% last year compared to the previous year (2022), and has been reducing emissions for five consecutive years since 2019 by promoting process innovation, facility improvement, energy consumption reduction, and expanding the use of renewable energy.

Meanwhile, LX Hausys has maintained an integrated A grade for nine consecutive years in the ESG evaluation announced by the Korea ESG Standards Institute, recognized as the most authoritative ESG management evaluation institution in Korea. Since first obtaining an A grade in the industry in 2016, it has continuously maintained the A grade by consistently demonstrating ESG management performance.
