The Korea Construction Association Pocheon City Council Donates 10 Million Won to Pocheon City

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 13th that the Pocheon City Council of the Gyeonggi Province Chapter of the Korea Construction Association (President Kim Dae-wan) donated 10 million KRW for neighborly aid on the 12th.

Kim Dae-wan, President of the Pocheon City Comprehensive Construction Council, stated, "We want to extend a helping hand, even if just a little, to neighbors in need," and added, "We will continue to participate in making Pocheon City a happier place."

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon City expressed, "I am grateful to the Pocheon City Council of the Gyeonggi Province Chapter of the Korea Construction Association for their annual concern and sharing with neighbors in difficulty, and we will use this donation carefully for low-income families in Pocheon City." He also said, "I hope you will prioritize the use of locally produced materials and equipment, and actively work towards the development of the local construction industry, as well as the employment stability and wage protection of local construction workers."

Meanwhile, the Korea Construction Association is a statutory organization established to contribute to the sound growth and development of the construction industry by preserving the dignity of construction workers, promoting mutual cooperation, and improving construction technology.
