"Legislative Activities Supporting Regional Development and the Growth of the Republic of Korea"
Jo In-cheol, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea representing Gwangju Seo-gu Gap, received the 'Honam Best National Assembly Member Award' from the Honam Voters' Union on the 13th.
The Honam Voters' Union is a civic organization advocating political reform and securing voters' rights. Since 2009, it has selected and awarded National Assembly members and professional organizations with outstanding reform achievements, morality, and policy-making capabilities.
Since the opening of the 22nd National Assembly, Assemblyman Jo has shown commitment to legislative activities for the future industries of Gwangju and South Korea, including the enactment of significant AI basic laws. He has left a fresh impression on voters through his efforts to practically contribute to solving regional issues with small but substantial livelihood legislation.
Assemblyman Jo stated, "It is regrettable that I could not attend the award ceremony due to the severe internal conflict and impeachment situation," adding, "I want to dedicate this honor to the residents of Gwangju and the Honam region. I will continue to engage in legislative activities that listen to the voices of the people and contribute to regional development and South Korea's growth, focusing on the AI industry."
