Dong-A University Business School, Shinju Scholarship Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony

Student Lee Chaeyeon and Ha Jinwoo Receive 2 Million Won Each

The College of Business Administration at Dong-A University (Dean Choi Gyu-hwan) announced on the 13th that it held the 2024 Shinju Scholarship Foundation Scholarship Award Ceremony.

The scholarship award ceremony, held on the 10th at the Dean's Office of the College of Business Administration on Dong-A University's Bumin Campus, was attended by Dean Choi Gyu-hwan, Professors Kim Sang-jin and Jo Yong-bok from the Department of Management Information Systems, and scholarship recipients.

The Shinju Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Kang Shin-joo), since its establishment in 2023, has contributed to improving academic performance and nurturing outstanding local talents with the educational purpose of "guaranteeing students' right to education by providing living expense scholarships to students who will become future leaders."

This year, the foundation awarded scholarships to 46 students from 19 universities nationwide, including Dong-A University.

At the scholarship award ceremony, Dong-A University students Lee Chae-yeon (Department of Management Information Systems) and Ha Jin-woo (Department of International Trade) each received 2 million KRW.

Student Lee Chae-yeon said, "I will continue to keep the responsibility that this scholarship gives me in mind, devote myself more to my studies, and do my best to achieve my goals."

Student Ha Jin-woo said, "I think I received this because I studied hard and had a good opportunity. I am grateful to the Shinju Scholarship Foundation," adding, "I will use this as a chance to focus more on my studies."
