The completion ceremony for the new Yeonpyeong 2-ri Village Hall in Yeonghae-myeon, Yeongdeok-gun, Gyeongbuk, was held on the 12th, attended by Kim Gwang-yeol, Yeongdeok County Governor, Jo Cheol-ro, Chairman of the Korean Senior Citizens Association Yeongdeok Branch, Kang Young-gu, village chief, and about 100 residents.

The Yeonpyeong 2-ri Village Hall was newly constructed starting April 17th, with a total floor area of 127.8㎡ over two above-ground floors, at a cost of 540 million won, and was completed on this day.
In particular, the village hall was designed with measures to resolve flooding concerns in the low-lying areas, and consists of a first-floor resting area where residents can relax safely and comfortably, and a second-floor meeting room serving as a space for harmony and communication.
Governor Kim Gwang-yeol expressed his congratulations, saying, “I expect that the newly built village hall will serve as a focal point to further blossom the culture of Yeonpyeong 2-ri Village, where people help each other and live together.”
