Since assuming office as the 11th chairman in 2022, Chairman Choi has led efforts to resolve longstanding issues in the medium-sized enterprise sector by contributing to the establishment of legal grounds for policies supporting and fostering medium-sized enterprises, such as the corporate tax rate reduction in December 2022 and the transition of the Special Act on Medium-sized Enterprises to a permanent law in March 2023.

Shimpack, led by Chairman Choi, is a leading medium-sized company in the domestic press industry recognized as the best in the world and is the first domestic ferroalloy specialized company with a 50-year history. In 2011, it received the $70 million Export Tower Award and was listed among Forbes' 'Top 100 Asian Medium-sized Enterprises.'
