Resolution on Medium- to Long-Term Labor Policy Implementation Plan
On the 9th, Yeosu City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong) held a labor-management-government council for the second half of 2024 with representatives from various sectors of labor, management, government, and civil society in the city hall situation room, adopting and proclaiming the "Yeosu National Industrial Complex Labor-Management Win-Win Development Joint Declaration."
Presided over by Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong, the council meeting proceeded in the order of reporting the achievements of this year's labor-management-government cooperation activation projects, the results of the research service for establishing the basic labor policy plan, and the performance report on local job measures.

Next, among the labor policy promotion tasks, short-term tasks capable of producing concrete results were selected, and as a follow-up measure to the "Discussion on Standardizing Health Checkups Before On-site Deployment of Plant Construction Workers" held on the 25th of last month, the Yeosu Industrial Complex Labor-Management Win-Win Development Joint Declaration was adopted, finalizing the decision to promote institutional improvements next year.
Mayor Jeong Gi-myeong stated, "Let us prepare mid- to long-term and comprehensive implementation plans reflecting the characteristics of the labor field, strengthen activities for worker safety and prevention of labor-management conflicts, and achieve the goal of co-growth among labor, management, government, and civil society."
