Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam will conduct an online vote from the 10th to the 14th to select the "Top 10 News that Shined in Changwon in 2024."

The year-end survey on the "Top 10 Changwon City Administration News" is a vote on major policies of the year, conducted annually to listen to citizens' voices and actively reflect them in policy making.

This year, there are 30 major policy candidates that shined in Changwon. They include ▲50th anniversary of the designation of Changwon National Industrial Complex, starting a new 50-year transformation ▲Laying the foundation for Masan's leap forward ▲Activation of Jinhae Advanced Industrial Research Complex ▲Stable establishment of the premium Bus Rapid Transit system (S-BRT) on Wonyi-daero ▲Opening of the ‘Changwon Mom Community Center’ for work-family balance ▲Promotion of the ‘Drone Demonstration City’ specialized complex ▲Opening of the Jinhae Seokdong Tunnel, among others.

The survey is conducted online, and anyone interested in city administration can participate through the Changwon City website under ‘Citizen Participation > Survey > 2024 Changwon City Administration Top 10 News Survey.’ Scanning the QR code in the promotional card news with a camera will also link to the survey participation. Up to 10 choices can be selected from the 30 news items.

The city will give 10,000 KRW worth of local love gift certificates (Nubijeon) to 300 citizens selected by lottery among those who participate in the vote. Based on the survey results, the city plans to announce the "Top 10 Changwon City Administration News of 2024" on the 18th and post it on the city website.

Choi Jeong-gyu, the public relations officer, said, "Looking back on this year’s major achievements, we can confirm Changwon’s new vitality," and added, "We hope many citizens will show interest and participate in selecting the Top 10 News to meaningfully conclude the year."
