Goyang-si, Issuance of 'Online Enrollment Notification' for Elementary Schools in 2025 Academic Year

Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 28th that it will provide an online elementary school enrollment notification issuance service for prospective parents with children scheduled to enter elementary school in 2025.

The online enrollment notification issuance can be applied for after identity verification on the Government24 website from 10:00 AM on December 2nd until midnight on December 20th.

The eligible applicants for issuance are the head of the household (or those who have completed guardian changes) of the same household as the child subject to enrollment. However, issuance is not available through the mobile app.

For guardians who do not use the online enrollment notification or those who have received it online, the local administrative welfare center of the resident’s jurisdiction will send the enrollment notification by hand delivery or mail during the online issuance service period to ensure no notifications are missed.

If early enrollment or deferral of enrollment is desired, an application must be submitted to the local administrative welfare center of the resident’s jurisdiction by December 31st.
