Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends '2024 Nowon-gu Volunteer Day Ceremony'

On the afternoon of the 20th, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, attended the '2024 Nowon-gu Volunteer Day Commemoration Ceremony' held in the main auditorium on the 2nd floor of Nowon-gu Office.

This event was organized by the Nowon-gu Volunteer Center to encourage the efforts of volunteers who dedicated themselves to the local community and neighbors throughout the year, and to promote a culture of sharing and volunteering.

About 300 volunteers, including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, attended the event, which proceeded with a congratulatory performance followed by ▲opening declaration ▲introduction of guests ▲encouragement speech ▲awarding of commendations to distinguished volunteers ▲commemorative photo session.

On this day, Mayor Oh Seung-rok encouraged individuals and groups who contributed to volunteer activities and awarded certificates of commendation to 80 distinguished volunteers.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I sincerely thank all the volunteers who have quietly served the local community and neighbors,” and added, “I hope you will continue to spread the value of sharing through your ongoing interest and activities.”
