This festival offers a chance to taste seasonal yellowtail and fresh seafood from the pristine Uljin sea, along with various experience programs and cultural events centered around seafood. It will be an opportunity to enjoy Uljin's beautiful nature and abundant marine resources together.

During the festival, there will be seafood and dried fish markets, a hands-on live fish catching experience where visitors can clean and taste the seafood they catch, seafood auctions offering fresh seafood at affordable prices, and the signature Mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) performance unique to the Jukbyeon Port Seafood Festival. These diverse programs are designed to be enjoyed by families, friends, and couples alike.

Another highlight is the "Seafood Filleting Show" held on the last day, the 10th. In this event, a seafood master will showcase a spectacular filleting performance, followed by an opportunity to learn how to prepare yellowtail and a free tasting session of fresh yellowtail sashimi. It will be a special moment to experience the tender and flavorful taste of seasonal yellowtail firsthand.

Especially this year, the festival stage will be filled with the TV Chosun show "Singing Korea," hosted by comedian Kim Jong-kook. Talented participants from all over the country will entertain the audience, providing a chance to introduce the clean waters of Jukbyeon Port in Donghae to the entire nation.

Son Byung-bok, the county governor, said, “The Jukbyeon Port Seafood Festival is prepared with various programs to revitalize the local economy and offer visitors unforgettable autumn memories. We hope you visit Jukbyeon Port and fully enjoy the taste and charm of Uljin.”
