Pocheon City Council Promotes Life-Sharing Blood Donation Campaign

The Pocheon City Council in Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Im Jong-hoon) conducted a 'Life-Sharing Blood Donation Campaign' on the 5th together with the staff of the Council Secretariat at the Pocheon City Hall parking lot.

On this day, the blood donation campaign was prepared with the intention of promoting the culture of blood donation at the council level and actively participating, with the participation of Chairman Im Jong-hoon, Vice Chairman Yeon Je-chang, and the staff of the Council Secretariat.

Chairman Im Jong-hoon said, "This blood donation campaign was organized to take the lead at the council level in spreading the culture of life-sharing in our local community and fulfilling our social responsibility. Blood donation is the most direct way to practice warm sharing in our society, and the Pocheon City Council will continue to actively encourage blood donation and prepare continuous support measures to do its best to protect the health and happiness of our citizens."

Meanwhile, the Pocheon City Council has enacted the 'Ordinance on Encouragement and Support of Blood Donation in Pocheon City' to actively promote blood donation by providing incentives such as Pocheon Love Gift Certificates to blood donors and to contribute to the revitalization of blood donation promotion projects.
