The Dongducheon Career Experience Support Center operated the 'Special Effects Makeup Artist Career Experience Program with Parents' at the Youth Training Center on the 12th and 26th. The Jinro Experience Support Center in Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok) announced on the 25th that it operated the 'Special Effects Makeup Artist Career Experience Program with Parents' at the Youth Training Center on the 12th and 26th.
This program was prepared at the request of parents to support career exploration and planning through meetings with professional workers and to foster emotional empathy between parents and their children.
A total of 51 participants, including elementary, middle, and high school students and their parents from the district, took part in the education and experience sessions, during which participants had the opportunity to learn about the profession of 'special effects makeup artist' under the guidance of a special effects makeup expert.
Additionally, students and parents paired up to engage in hands-on activities, creating their own unique special effects makeup, making for a valuable experience.
A student who participated in the career experience education shared, "I made good memories with my parents, and it was fascinating to try special effects makeup myself." A parent who joined added, "It was fun and informative to experience the makeup we usually see on TV together with my child."
Meanwhile, an official from the Dongducheon-si Jinro Experience Support Center stated, "Through career exploration and experiential education with professional workers who students are curious about and interested in, we will continue to strive to help youth develop self-directed career development skills."
