The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has released a D-Day video 40 days ahead of the '2024 UNESCO International Forum on the Future of Education,' scheduled to take place from December 2 to 4.
This video features a special education teacher from the Office using sign language to emphasize the forum's inclusive values, conveying the message, "Expanding Gyeonggi Future Education to the World."
In preparation for the international forum, the Office is producing short videos (shorts) every 10 days as D-Day videos, making them easy and enjoyable for anyone to watch.
The video includes participation from Superintendent Lim Tae-hee and various members of the Gyeonggi education community. The produced videos are gaining attention on the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education's YouTube channel (GOE) and Instagram, among other social media platforms.
Notably, the video produced 60 days before the forum (D-60) carries the message, "The final piece to complete the puzzle of the future of education is the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education," and has recorded over 400,000 views on Instagram, receiving the highest interest among the D-Day series.
Lee Gil-ho, Director of Public Relations Planning at the Office, stated, "We are making various efforts to convey the significance of the 2024 UNESCO International Forum on the Future of Education in an easy and enjoyable way," adding, "We will actively promote the forum through social media to encourage more residents and education families to take interest and participate."
