Sales Surpassing 10 Billion Won Within Reach
The movie capturing singer Lim Young-woong's performance at Sangam Stadium, 'Lim Young-woong | I'm Hero The Stadium,' has become the highest-grossing concert live film of all time.
According to the integrated box office information system on the 21st, the cumulative number of viewers until the previous day was about 346,000. It surpassed BTS's 'Love Yourself in Seoul (2019),' which previously attracted the largest audience (about 342,000) for a concert live film.
'I'm Hero The Stadium' is a work that features Lim Young-woong's performance at the Seoul World Cup Stadium last May and the behind-the-scenes stories. Since its release on August 28, it has steadily drawn audiences, mainly from the fan club 'Young-woong Era.'
In particular, in the early days of its release, the theaters were filled with middle-aged female viewers wearing sky-blue T-shirts symbolizing the Young-woong Era, creating a rare sight. Many sought out special theaters such as IMAX and ScreenX to experience the live concert atmosphere. Thanks to this, 'I'm Hero The Stadium (9.8 billion KRW)' is on the verge of surpassing 10 billion KRW in cumulative sales.
