Gwangju Seo-gu to Train 'One-Person Media' Introducing Villages Gwangju Seo-gu has launched a 'one-person media' training course to introduce the village.

Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Yi-gang) is conducting the 'The World's Largest University Village Autonomy (Specialized) Department Village Media Education' course to create a village media environment.


Starting with the opening ceremony on the 14th, the course will be held at the Seo-gu Village Media Center until November 7th, targeting 20 residents interested in village media.


The education content includes a total of 7 lectures: ▲Understanding and activation cases of village media ▲Understanding and planning the production of our village records ▲Practical training in filming our village records ▲Practical training in editing and producing videos of our village activities ▲Uploading and sharing videos introducing village activities on SNS, among others.


Seo-gu plans to conduct practical training for planning, filming, video editing, and production of videos introducing our village activities by utilizing the one-person media room and open studio.


Additionally, Seo-gu will operate a free learning club linked to the education course for those who complete the Village Media Education, and will engage in producing video content about good Seo-gu village activities such as residents' general meetings.


Jung Ui-chun, director of the Seo-gu Village Community Support Center, said, "We will strengthen residents' capabilities in village media activities to revitalize village content production," and added, "We will spare no support so that village communities can record their village activities by themselves."
