Students from the Department of Design and Formative Arts at Dong-Eui University achieved remarkable success by winning numerous awards at the '2024 Busan Sign Expo (SIGN EXPO BUSAN 2024)', co-hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Outdoor Advertising Association.

The Department of Design and Form at Dong-Eui University won numerous awards at the 2024 Busan Sign Expo (SIGN EXPO BUSAN 2024).

The Busan Sign Expo, held annually since 2002 to establish a culture of beautiful outdoor advertising, held its award ceremony this year on the 4th at the main conference hall of the Busan City Council.

At this year's 22nd contest, Dong-Eui University saw first-year student Park Suha from the Department of Design and Formative Arts win the Grand Prize in the Creative Design category, receiving a prize of 2 million KRW. Additionally, first-year student Jang Yugyeong won the Gold Prize (1 million KRW) and first-year student Kim Dongyeon won the Silver Prize (500,000 KRW), both in the Creative Design category.

Park Suha's Grand Prize-winning work, "Dasiduri," attracted attention as an outdoor sign that harmoniously combines brand naming and graphic motifs expressed in simple forms and green colors to address environmental issues in modern society. The work was recognized for its relevance, clarity, and purposefulness in conveying an eco-friendly message.

Park Suha commented, "While preparing for the contest, I wanted to create a brand sign related to the environment to help build a society without waste. I feel rewarded to have achieved a result that can raise public awareness about the issue of waste in modern society."
