This video is the second half content of the "Why Is a Bed Science?" campaign that Ace Bed has been running since the first half of this year. It features four tests?“Mattress Double-Sided Usage Test,” “Mattress Air Circulation Test,” “Radon Measurement Test,” and “Formaldehyde Detection Test”?demonstrating differentiated performance and safety.

The Mattress Double-Sided Usage Test and Mattress Air Circulation Test focused on showing the differentiated performance of Ace Bed mattresses compared to regular mattresses under the same conditions. Then, the Radon Measurement Test and Formaldehyde Detection Test clearly explained how harmful substance inspections, which consumers are concerned about, are conducted.

The Mattress Double-Sided Usage Test compared the internal structure of a single-sided mattress and Ace Bed’s Two-Way Cushion Mattress. The Two-Way Cushion Mattress has internal materials on both sides, allowing both the top and bottom surfaces to be used. Each side provides a different cushioning feel, offering various options tailored to user preferences.

The Mattress Air Circulation Test verified the effectiveness of the new air circulation system developed by Ace Bed, called the “Airway Method.” When Styrofoam balls are placed equally in boxes containing regular sponge and Airway Method sponge and a fan is operated, the Styrofoam balls move actively only inside the box finished with the Airway Method sponge as air passes through. This proves that mattresses applying the Airway Method have relatively smooth air circulation.

In the Radon Measurement Test video, the process of measuring radon concentration on both the top and bottom surfaces of the mattress was shown, reflecting radon’s characteristic of being heavier than air and settling downward. Ace Bed measures radon concentration doubly on the mattress’s top and bottom surfaces and can conduct inspections anytime throughout the year?from raw materials to finished products?in the radon measurement room of the internationally accredited “Ace Bed Engineering Research Institute.”

The Formaldehyde Detection Test introduced bed science that safely protects against formaldehyde, a Group 1 carcinogen that can cause headaches, asthma, atopy, and new furniture syndrome. The video included scenes of testing formaldehyde content using professional methods such as the distilled water extraction method and the desiccator method, which are the same methods used by specialized institutions.
