Chairman of the SME Cooperative and Heads of SME Organizations Attend
Sharing Opinions on Current Issues in the SME Sector

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 24th that it held the '2024 Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) CEO Seminar' over two days starting from the 23rd at Aurora Golf & Resort in Wonju, Gangwon Province.

This seminar was organized to promote exchange and cooperation among SME cooperatives. More than 80 participants, including chairpersons of SME cooperatives and heads of SME organizations, attended.


The attendees shared opinions on the current status of cooperative operations and pressing issues in the SME sector, and discussed ways to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs and achieve innovative growth amid rapidly changing business environments.


Kim Ki-moon, Chairman of Kbiz, stated, "Thanks to the continuous efforts and cooperation of the SME sector, we have achieved policy outcomes such as the implementation of the linked payment system for delivery payments and tax reforms for business succession." He added, "Amid ongoing difficult domestic and international business conditions, I urge SME cooperatives to demonstrate leadership and wisdom to resolve SME difficulties and overcome crises."
