Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, Shares Well-Wishes with Residents at Chuseok Event 'Hangawi Hanmadang'

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, visited Hongdae Red Road on the afternoon of the 16th for the Chuseok event ‘2024 Hangawi Hanmadang’.

Hosted and organized by the Hongdae Walkable Street Merchants Association, this event was prepared to offer tourists on Hongdae Red Road a warm Chuseok atmosphere and to revitalize the commercial district.

The event featured various traditional games such as Tuho and Jegichagi, as well as hanbok experiences. Additionally, from 6 p.m., four teams performed Korean traditional music busking, delighting the eyes and ears of tourists.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, "I hope everyone enjoys the various experiences and performances at Hongdae Red Road and fully feels the Chuseok spirit. Mapo District will do its best to ensure that everyone spends the remaining Chuseok holidays healthily and safely with their families."
