To this end, the city signed a 'Happy Energy Partnership' agreement with these companies on the 28th at the Daol Room in City Hall. The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Kyung-hee, Mayor of Icheon, Lee Dae-hoon, Head of Sales at Cowon Energy Service, and Jung Jae-gil, representative of Lotte, Daesung, and Honeywell Icheon agencies.

According to the agreement, these organizations will carry out the Energy Partnership project targeting 350 energy-vulnerable households in the area. The city will provide administrative support such as selecting vulnerable beneficiaries and promoting support procedures. Cowon Energy Service will contribute funds for cleaning the pipes of old boilers, and the on-site project implementation will be handled by Daesung, Lotte, and Honeywell Icheon agencies.

Icheon City expects that this project will not only alleviate the heating cost burden for vulnerable groups but also reduce carbon emissions by 45,500 kg annually through improved boiler efficiency.

Mayor Kim said, "With this agreement, we hope that vulnerable groups in the area can spend a warm winter by reducing heating costs." Head Lee responded, "As a leading energy company in the Icheon area, we will continue to increase energy welfare support for vulnerable groups."
