President Yoon is an administrative expert with a long career in journalism, having served as Director of the Defense Media Agency, Chief Public Relations Secretary in the Presidential Office during the Participatory Government, and Director of the Seoul Jungbu Technical Education Institute.
At Namseoul University, he has served as the 7th, 8th, and 9th president since 2018, and is recognized for leading the university's development through stable and innovative management.
In particular, during his term, he achieved an 'All Pass' in the 2023 University Basic Competency Assessment and was selected as an Education Internationalization Certified University for four consecutive years, achieving outstanding results in various evaluations and certifications by the Ministry of Education. In addition, he has been active in industry-academia cooperation by opening a Smart Mobility Demonstration Complex and launching the Smart Farm Department and related projects.
At the inauguration ceremony, President Yoon Seungyong presented four main university management plans: △Creating new leadership that inherits the founding spirit of the university △Doubling the acquisition of government-supported projects △Innovating curricula and systems to meet the age of artificial intelligence △Actively promoting profit-generating projects, including the development of the university's undeveloped land.
President Yoon Seungyong said, "I will do my best together with all members for the continuous development of Namseoul University."
