Yongin City Announces Open Recruitment for 'Citizen Communication Officer' Position

Equivalent to Grade 5... Applications Accepted Until the 5th of Next Month

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 25th that it will publicly recruit candidates for the open position of 'Citizen Communication Officer' until the 5th of next month.

Yongin City Announces Open Recruitment for 'Citizen Communication Officer' Position

The open position system was introduced to enhance the competitiveness of the public service sector. Candidates best suited for the position are selected through a public competitive process and appointed. The Citizen Communication Officer holds a grade equivalent to level 5 and is responsible for diagnosing and mediating major conflict complaints related to city administration, managing and responding to numerous complaints, online and offline citizen communication, and citizen cooperation projects.


The appointment period is two years and can be extended up to five years based on job performance. Eligibility requires no disqualifications under the Local Public Officials Act and meeting at least one of the career or achievement requirements set by the city.


Applications can be submitted in person or by registered mail to the City Personnel Management Division from the 30th until August 5th. Registered mail must arrive by 6 p.m. on the application deadline date to be valid, and applicants must notify the person in charge by phone after submission.


The city will announce the final successful candidates next month after evaluating the job performance capabilities through document screening and interviews for those who pass the first document review.
