"This Is Why We Lost the General Election"
On the 7th, Na Kyung-won, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, collectively criticized the dispute between candidates Won Hee-ryong and Han Dong-hoon over the controversy surrounding the 'Kim Geon-hee text message being ignored,' calling it a "spectacle of the defeat brothers."

On the same day, Na stated on Facebook, "This is why they lost the general election." She pointed out that unlike herself, Han, who led the nationwide election as the party's emergency committee chairman during the last general election, and Won, who ran in the Incheon Gyeyang-eul district, both lost in the general election.
Na criticized Han, saying, "An irresponsible amateur who clumsily distinguishes between official and unofficial matters and even lost the opportunity for an apology from Mrs. Kim, which our party members, the public, and general election candidates so desperately wanted."
Regarding some non-incumbent party branch chairpersons pushing for Han's resignation press conference, Na targeted the pro-Yoon faction (pro-Yoon Seok-yeol faction) candidate Won, writing, "In the meantime, a reckless avatar who only aggravates the backlash by persistently drawing lines."
Na was the subject of pressure not to run from the pro-Yoon faction's first-term lawmakers through a petition during last year's March 8 party convention, and she ultimately did not run in the convention.
Kim Min-su, spokesperson for Na's campaign, said in a statement that day, "Han's 'read-and-ignored incident' is a different issue from the petition incident," and claimed, "Han is the mastermind behind creating a large faction within the party called 'Chin-Han' (pro-Han Dong-hoon faction). Isn't it currently the largest faction and one of the powers within the party?" He added, "If the press conference by the non-incumbent party branch chairpersons was a voluntary expression of opinion, that would be one thing, but if this is also part of factional line-drawing, it is absolutely undesirable."
