"If I Were the Mayor..." Pyeongtaek City Recruiting Teams for Citizen Cooperation Contest

With the goal of creating a "Happy Pyeongtaek City where people want to live for a long time," this competition, now in its fifth year, is a "public-private cooperation model development" project where citizens directly participate in the policy development process to find solutions together with the administration. It was prepared to expand citizen participation in policy development to improve local community issues or public services from the citizens' perspective.

Any Pyeongtaek citizen, including office workers, students, and public officials, can apply by forming a team of three or more members. The city plans to hold a project briefing session on the 19th at the Pyeongtaek City Hall main conference room to help citizens understand and participate in the project.

Teams selected through a small audition will share their results at the November presentation event after going through policy development workshops, field surveys, and expert mentoring. For more details, check the public notices on the Pyeongtaek City website or contact the City Administration Cooperation Division's Governance Cooperation Team.
