Gyeonggi-do Produces and Distributes 'Integrity Guide' for Retired Public Officials

Gyeonggi Province is producing and distributing a integrity guide for retired public officials.

This integrity guide includes ethical behaviors that retired public officials must strictly follow, such as ▲prohibition of improper solicitation and mediation ▲prohibition of using confidential information related to duties ▲prohibition of leaking secrets ▲reporting changes in assets ▲employment restrictions and employment review ▲restrictions on handling official duties.

Gyeonggi Province explained that the guide is part of the "Lifecycle Integrity Education for Improving Integrity" from entry to retirement of public officials, aiming to further enhance the level of integrity in the public sector by targeting retired public officials.

Choi Eun-soon, Auditor of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "We will continue to discover anti-corruption and integrity policies that meet the expectations of the citizens, the demanders of integrity, and do our best to create a trustworthy and integrity-driven Gyeonggi Province."
