Sahakyeongeum Declares ESG Management Practice Statement

The Private School Teachers' Pension Service (Sahakyeongeum) announced on the 30th that it has declared the ‘TP ESG Management Practice Declaration’ to make ESG practice participation a daily habit for all employees in its third year of ESG management adoption and to continue striving to fulfill its social responsibilities as a public institution.

This practice declaration includes efforts to create a sustainable green management environment and achieve carbon neutrality, contribute to the development of the national community through win-win cooperation with various stakeholders, and handle tasks transparently and fairly based on ethical management. It will serve as the future direction for the corporation’s ESG management.

The corporation established a dedicated ESG department in January of this year, has received the highest rating from the Ministry of Health and Welfare for five consecutive years in relation to community contribution, and has been committed to ESG management, with ESG-related investments surpassing 1 trillion won.

Chairman Song Hajung stated, “I hope this practice declaration will serve as an opportunity for ESG management to become closely integrated into our daily work life,” and added, “Let us all participate together for the sustainable role of the corporation.”
