On the 29th, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency announced that a man identified as A was recently sent to the prosecution on charges of special intimidation. This incident was detailed in a video titled "There is a person with a weapon in front of my house door" posted on the official YouTube channel of the National Police Agency on the 27th. The video, recorded through a building's closed-circuit television (CCTV), shows a man (A) leaving his home and heading toward a neighbor's house. In the footage, as the neighbor opens the front door upon hearing A's presence lingering outside, A raises a weapon to threaten him. The startled resident quickly closes the door, but A does not leave the spot for quite some time. After waiting for a while and noticing no further movement, he seems to give up and returns to his home.

The police, who responded to the report, approached A and asked, "Did you come out holding a knife just now?" However, A strongly denied threatening with a weapon, saying things like "What knife?" and "There is no knife in my house." When the police continued to press him, A finally explained, "The neighbor's dog barks every day, so I told them to stop." When asked, "What did you come out holding if not a knife?" A rummaged around and showed a wooden chopstick.

However, the police, suspicious of A's behavior, searched his house. As a result, they found a knife and scissors that A had claimed were not inside. They also confirmed through CCTV footage that he threatened the neighbor while holding scissors. It was reported that A and the victim had been in conflict over the noise caused by their pet dogs barking. Ultimately, the man was arrested at the scene and sent to the prosecution on charges of special intimidation.

Some netizens who watched the video pointed out that noise from neighbors' pet dogs can also cause significant stress. However, most netizens responded with comments such as, "Even if there is a reason, threatening with a weapon is an unjustifiable act," "The world is too scary to live in," "Thanks to the police's prompt response, a serious incident was prevented," and "Should we make it mandatory to install CCTV at front doors?"
