Daejeon Seodaejeon IC to Gyeryong Dugye 3-ga Lane Reduction Operation

From May to May 2025... Request to Use Seodaejeon IC, Gyeryong IC, and National Route 1

Lane reduction section from Seodaejeon IC to Dugye Samgeori area, Duma-myeon, Gyeryong-si / Daejeon City

Daejeon City announced that starting from May 1, the two-way lanes on the 5.54 km section from Seodaejeon IC in Gwanjeo-dong, Seo-gu to Dugye Samgeori in Duma-myeon, Gyeryong City will be reduced from 4 lanes to 2 lanes.

This is to ensure the safety of road users and facilitate smooth progress of the road expansion construction from Seodaejeon IC to Dugye 3-ga, and the lane reduction will continue until May 2025.

Vehicles heading toward Gyeryong should use Seodaejeon IC, and vehicles heading toward Daejeon should detour via Gyeryong IC or National Route 1.

Choi Yong-bin, Director of the Construction Management Headquarters of Daejeon City, said, “We will strengthen safety facility installations and strive to complete the work quickly to minimize inconvenience to citizens caused by the construction.”
