From the 20th, Two Days of Addressing Current Issues in Jeju
‘Good Shot with Voting 인증샷’ General Election Voting Encouragement Campaign
The Korea Golf Course Management Association (KGBA) held its 2024 regular general meeting.
KGBA announced on the 22nd that the meeting was held over two days starting from the 20th at Maison Glad Jeju and Elysian Jeju in Jeju Island. The association's honorary chairman, advisors, auditors, executives, and CEOs of member companies attended. The agenda included last year's business analysis, financial settlement, and current issues. The meeting approved the 2023 business analysis and financial settlement (proposal). In anticipation of the 22nd National Assembly election on April 10, the association and its 205 member companies agreed to lead a voting encouragement campaign titled "Good Shot with a Voting Certification Photo!"
Reports on last year's association achievements followed, including the mandatory regulation for public golf course annexes, abolition of the obligation to assign sports instructors in golf course businesses, revision of reservation rules for non-member golf course usage order (proposal), revision of the enforcement decree of the Local Tax Act regarding comprehensive taxation of land shares in non-member golf courses (proposal), and revision of the golf course music copyright usage fee collection regulations (proposal).
Responses to unfair lawsuits against golf courses, partial amendments to laws and enforcement decrees related to labor providers such as caddies, and the status of golf courses nationwide were also discussed.
