Samsung Asset Management announced on the 28th that it will hold the KODEX US Big Tech 10 OX Quiz event.
The KODEX US Big Tech 10 (H) ETF is the new name for Samsung Asset Management's representative product, KODEX US FANG Plus (H), which focuses on investing in major US big tech companies.
Samsung Asset Management stated that KODEX US Big Tech 10 (H) is a product that invests in 10 US big tech companies leading global technological innovation and opening the era of global AI. The product name was changed because the previous name, KODEX US FANG Plus (H), did not clearly encompass the product's investment strategy.
The event can be participated in on the official KODEX website. Those who answer all four OX questions related to KODEX US Big Tech 10 (H) correctly will be entered into a draw to receive coffee coupons for 200 people. The event period is until March 18.
KODEX US Big Tech 10 (H) invests evenly in 10 global representative big tech companies across various innovative fields such as AI, semiconductors, metaverse, electric vehicles, and platform companies, including the US big tech companies known as the Magnificent 7. Notably, it is Samsung Asset Management's flagship US ETF, recording the highest annual return of 98% in 2023 among domestically listed ETFs (excluding leveraged and inverse products).
Also, as a hedged product that allows investment in leading US tech stocks without currency exchange rate impact, it enables investment solely in price changes of leading US innovative companies without being affected by the dollar weakness that typically occurs during US interest rate cuts, which are expected in the current environment.
Manager I Ga-hyun of Samsung Asset Management emphasized, “KODEX US Big Tech 10 (H) is an essential product for long-term investors as it focuses on investing in 10 US big tech stocks leading the AI era. It is the only product in Korea that invests equally weighted in US big tech companies, and we will continuously demonstrate differentiated performance by reflecting the rapidly changing global big tech tectonic shifts in the fund’s results.”
