"Spreading Positive Influence"... Samyang Group Donates 300 Million KRW for Neighbor Assistance Fund

Donation to Community Chest of Korea
Participating in Hope Sharing Campaign since 2001

Samyang Group announced on the 28th that it donated 300 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea as a Neighborly Love Fund.

Samyang Group raised the donation funds with Samyang Holdings and Samyang Corporation each contributing 100 million KRW, and Samyang Packaging and Samnam Petrochemical each contributing 50 million KRW. The funds will be used for youth education projects, support for low-income households, and improvement of educational environments.

Kim Yoon, Chairman of Samyang Holdings, said, "We participated in the Hope Sharing Campaign to help neighbors in need during the year-end and New Year season," adding, "We plan to continuously promote various social contribution activities that can spread positive influence in our society."

Previously, Samyang Group has been participating in the Community Chest of Korea’s year-end and New Year Neighbor Helping Hope Sharing Campaign since 2001. In July, they donated 200 million KRW and medicines worth 50 million KRW to flood victims affected by the heavy rains in the central region.
