Gasan Wells Holdings, Siheung Church, YPP, Woori Bank Geumcheon-gu Office Branch Registered... Listed in Geumcheon Hall of Sharing for Donations Over 100 Million KRW in Goods or 30-50 Million KRW in Cash
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it held the induction ceremony for the '2023 Geumcheon Hall of Sharing' on November 15.
Geumcheon-gu newly inducted 'Gasan Wells Holdings', 'Siheung Church', 'YPP', and 'Woori Bank Geumcheon-gu Office Branch', who have continuously practiced warm donations, into the Geumcheon Hall of Sharing.
The 'Geumcheon Hall of Sharing' was established on the first floor of the district office in November 2019 to honor the precious intentions of donors practicing sharing and to spread a healthy donation culture in the local community.
Names are engraved in the Geumcheon Hall of Sharing when in-kind donations exceed 100 million KRW, or cash donations exceed 30 million KRW for individuals and 50 million KRW for corporations or organizations.
Gasan Wells Holdings has donated 531 million KRW in cash and goods since 2021, Siheung Church has donated 101.24 million KRW in goods since 2018, and YPP has donated 80 million KRW in cash since 2021 to the Community Chest of Korea for vulnerable residents in Geumcheon-gu.
Woori Bank Geumcheon-gu Office Branch donated 500 million KRW to the Geumcheon Future Scholarship Foundation in 2023 for children in Geumcheon-gu.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “On this meaningful day marking the start of the 2024 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign, I am pleased to express my gratitude to the donors,” and added, “I hope the precious intentions of those who participated in sharing will be widely known and long remembered through the Geumcheon Hall of Sharing.”
