The incident occurred on the 21st aboard British Airways flight BA348 at Heathrow Airport. Fellow passengers initially thought the woman had been asleep the entire flight and did not pay much attention, but when she showed no movement even after luggage was being collected upon arrival, they found it suspicious and called a flight attendant.

The flight attendant confirmed that the woman was unconscious and immediately requested assistance from the airport paramedics.

Paramedics who arrived at the scene performed CPR on the woman, but she did not regain consciousness. She was ultimately declared dead one hour after landing.

The airline stated that the woman had a history of heart disease and is believed to have died from a heart attack during the flight.

No further investigation or autopsy plans have been announced yet. The airline expressed condolences through local media, saying, "We share the sorrow of the bereaved family who must be going through a difficult time."
