High Response from 54 Children in Marginalized Groups
The Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation (Chairman Kim Young-gu) announced on the 20th that it conducted the 'JB Children's Sports Club' with the Jeonbuk Bank Badminton Team for 54 children from underprivileged groups.
The 'JB Children's Sports Club' is a program designed to provide children with various sports experiences to help improve physical fitness, restore self-esteem, and enhance social skills, thereby nurturing their dreams and visions.
This project was held twice in total, once a day on the 18th and 19th, at the Jeonbuk Bank Badminton exclusive court. Kim Hyo-sung, the coach of the Jeonbuk Bank Badminton Team, and the players conducted basic training sessions. All participating children were gifted high-quality badminton rackets.
The participating children said, "We want to learn badminton every day," and "We are truly grateful for the opportunity to receive training from professional players."
Chairman Kim Young-gu said, "I feel proud to see children with the same dreams and goals communicating together," adding, "We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities steadily for the children who will lead the future."
Meanwhile, the Jeonbuk Bank Scholarship and Culture Foundation has been engaged in projects such as improving educational environments, supporting cultural activities, and assisting underprivileged groups.
This year, it is leading the development of local talent through various projects including the bicycle support project, JB Dream up career coaching camp, JB Future Talent WeRO program, JB Humanities lectures, and JB Career Camp.
