Lotte Hotel Seoul announced on the 18th that it will newly open the luxury lounge ‘La Cime’ on the 34th floor of the Executive Tower on October 4.
La Cime, which means ‘peak (Cime)’ in French, is a premium lounge for guests staying in the Executive Tower Premier rooms or higher. With the opening of La Cime, Lotte Hotel Seoul will operate a total of three lounges with different concepts and target audiences: ‘Le Salon’ on the 16th floor of the Executive Tower, ‘Club Lounge’ on the 31st floor of the Main Tower, and La Cime.
The biggest feature of La Cime is that it embodies the heritage unique to Lotte Hotel Seoul, accumulated over more than 40 years, in its space and service. Located on the top floor, guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Seoul’s dazzling skyline, and the more private space configuration compared to existing lounges allows for a more delicate service experience.
The lounge operating hours are from 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM. Guests can enjoy benefits such as a breakfast buffet, afternoon tea with coffee or tea made by a barista and dessert trays, welcome cocktails, special menus, and happy hour featuring premium champagne selected by a sommelier, all offered according to the time of day.
During happy hour from 6 PM to 8 PM daily, a variety of buffet menus that pair well with different wines are prepared, along with a mixologist bar, live stations, and barbecue carving service. Signature cocktails from Lotte Hotel Seoul’s Peninsula Lounge & Bar and the Korean restaurant Mugunghwa are served as welcome cocktails, and the whiskey lineup, including Ballantine’s, has been strengthened to add a special touch.
To allow guests to experience La Cime in advance, a traditional liquor one-day class for guests will be held during the pre-opening period on September 28 from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. Participation is available for up to 25 people on a first-come, first-served basis through the official Lotte Hotel Seoul website. The one-day class includes tasting eight types of traditional liquor along with detailed explanations.
To commemorate the opening of La Cime, the work ‘Blossom (Mangae)’ by artist Jeon Byung-hyun will be exhibited in the Executive Tower lobby until October 22. Visitors can see the artwork featuring flowers brilliantly blooming in a white moon jar reminiscent of Joseon white porcelain. Earlier this year in January, Lotte Hotel Seoul opened ‘The L.Collection,’ a space introducing works by domestic blue-chip artists, on the first floor of the Executive Tower.
A representative of Lotte Hotel Seoul said, “La Cime is a luxury lounge prepared to offer a more special and differentiated experience for customers who enjoy a high-end lifestyle,” adding, “Beyond the role of a lounge, we plan to introduce elements that share culture and art, showcasing various aspects as a cultural salon space.”
