Five-Car Pileup at Sanin Junction on Namhae Expressway... 7 Injured, Severe Traffic Congestion

At 11:03 a.m. on the 29th, a five-vehicle pileup occurred near Sinsan-ri, Sanin-myeon, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam, on the Namhae Expressway.

According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, one cargo truck and four passenger cars collided in succession near the Sanin Junction, resulting in seven injuries.

The accident is currently causing severe congestion in both directions.

Ten pieces of equipment, including fire engines and ambulances, and 28 firefighters have been dispatched to the scene.

The police and fire authorities are managing the accident site while investigating the exact cause and extent of the damage.
