Choo Jang-woon, a doctoral graduate of the Department of Storytelling at Dong-Eui University Graduate School, received an academic award at the "2023 Spring Conference of the Korean Multimedia Society" held at the National Suncheon University from the 19th to the 20th.
The Korean Multimedia Society selects one outstanding paper with the highest quality among all papers published in the society throughout the year and awards an academic prize.

Dr. Choo received the academic award for his paper titled "The Effect of Internet Word-of-Mouth Information on Consumer Purchase Intention in E-commerce Live Broadcasts" and is currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
Also, at the conference, Lim Jeong, a doctoral student, Wang Young, a doctoral student, and Kim Ri-ha, a master's student from the Department of Storytelling, each received an excellent paper award.
Professor Kim Chi-yong of the Department of Game Engineering at Dong-Eui University, the advisor, said, "I hope the excellent research achievements of the researchers in the Department of Storytelling at Dong-Eui University Graduate School will contribute to the development of convergent technologies for the future society."
