'Lightly, Walk, Drink, and Reduce'... National Obesity Prevention Campaign for Family Month

This campaign, held in celebration of Family Month, will be conducted in collaboration with 185 city and provincial governments and public health centers nationwide. The campaign is themed around the obesity prevention slogan "Lightly, Walk, Drink, Reduce," and consists of programs that anyone can easily practice with family and friends in daily life.

In particular, a nationwide participatory walking campaign will be operated using the mobile walking application (app) "WalkOn." The walking campaign will run for one month from the 22nd of this month to the 21st of next month, aiming to walk a total of more than 150,000 steps. Among those who achieve a total of 150,000 steps during the period, 200 people will be selected by lottery to receive prizes.

Local governments participating in the joint campaign also plan to promote various online and offline campaigns for obesity prevention among local residents, including walking campaigns using WalkOn and self-developed apps. Detailed information can be found on the official obesity prevention campaign website "Gabyeopge."
