Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province will provide up to 2 million KRW in funding for the 'Re-Launch Environment Improvement Project' to small business owners.

On the 6th, Yongin City announced that it will carry out the environment improvement project targeting small business owners registered in Yongin City as of the application deadline (March 24), with annual sales of 300 million KRW or less last year, to help improve the aging store environments.

The city will evaluate the appropriateness of the project and select a total of 120 locations, providing up to 2 million KRW per store.

Selected small business owners will receive support of up to 2 million KRW for at least two expert visit consultations, store environment improvements such as signage, display stands, and interior, or POS and kiosk device programs.

Small business owners wishing to apply can submit their applications by visiting in person or by mail to the Korea Productivity Center Small Business Growth Center (9th floor, 32 Saemunan-ro 5ga-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul).

The city will prioritize selecting Yongin Y-Point affiliated stores, Good Price businesses, new startups, and small business owners affected by heavy rain damage. However, these businesses must submit additional supporting documents.

Detailed information about the project can be found on the city’s website under the notices and announcements section or on the Korea Productivity Center website.

A city official stated, "We hope the Small Business Re-Launch Environment Improvement Project will be an opportunity to enhance the competitiveness of small business owners," and urged, "We encourage those who hesitated to improve their environment due to economic burdens to apply."
