Jangheung-gun Selected as an Excellent Institution in the 'Local Government Proactive Administration Comprehensive Evaluation'

Institution Head's Efforts and Attention, Incentives for Outstanding Public Officials

Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do was selected as an excellent institution nationwide in the '2022 Local Government Proactive Administration Comprehensive Evaluation.'

According to the county on the 2nd, this evaluation, hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, was conducted targeting 243 local governments nationwide.

Among them, 73 local governments, corresponding to the top 30%, were selected as 'excellent institutions.'

The evaluation was based on proactive administration performance, efforts to improve systems, the efforts of institution heads, and excellent achievements throughout 2022.

The evaluation's objectivity and fairness were enhanced by the participation of the 'Proactive Administration Comprehensive Evaluation Team' composed of experts and the 'Citizen Evaluation Team.'

Jangheung-gun received favorable evaluations in categories such as △the efforts and interest of the institution head △providing exceptional incentives to outstanding public officials △application and processing of pre-consultations △efforts in education and publicity for employees.

County Governor Kim Seong said, "This evaluation is the result of the efforts of all public officials who actively engaged in their work," adding, "We will continue to lead improvements in public service culture so that public officials can work based on creativity and expertise."
