Owners or Co-owners of Agricultural and Fishery Management Entities
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will accept applications for the Gyeongsangnam-do Agricultural and Fishery Workers Allowance Support Project at the local eup/myeon offices from March 2 to April 14.
Eligibility for application is limited to heads or co-heads of agricultural and fishery management entities who have had an address in Hapcheon-gun from January 1, 2022, until the application date.
However, those with non-agricultural income exceeding 37 million KRW in 2021, violators of related laws, and recipients of fraudulent subsidies are excluded from receiving the allowance.
The county plans to review the eligibility and requirements of applicants, accept and verify objections in June, finalize the recipients, and disburse the allowance.
The allowance can be used starting July 17, and recipients must complete education on the enhancement of public functions related to agriculture, fishery, and rural areas and participate in village community activities by October; failure to comply will result in recovery of the allowance.
Kim Hae-sik, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, “We hope the Agricultural and Fishery Workers Allowance will help those going through difficult times and contribute to revitalizing the local economy. Please be sure to apply within the application period and fulfill the mandatory obligations.”
