Ministry of the Interior and Safety Provides 500 Million KRW Special Grant to Manage Fire Recovery in Guryong Village

Use for Fire Debris Disposal and Disaster Victim Relief

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 20th that it has decided to urgently provide a special grant of 500 million won to quickly recover from the damage caused by the fire in Guryong Village, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

This support will be used for debris removal caused by the fire, installation of access control facilities such as safety fences, and relief activities for disaster victims.

Minister of the Interior and Safety Sangmin Lee stated, “I hope the special disaster safety grant will be of some help to the residents of Guryong Village, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, who suffered damage from the fire,” and added, “I also hope the Seoul Metropolitan Government will do its best to ensure that the recovery proceeds smoothly.”
