Uljugun Ungchon Elementary School Alumni Association Donates Rice to Celebrate 100th Anniversary of School Opening

The Ulju-gun Ungchon Elementary School Alumni Association donated rice to neighbors in need on the 2nd to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the school's founding, and then took a commemorative photo.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Alumni Association of Ungchon Elementary School in Ulju-gun, Ulsan City, visited the Ungchon-myeon Administrative Welfare Center on the 2nd to donate thirty 10kg bags of white rice to neighbors in need in celebration of the school's 100th anniversary.

The rice delivered that day was donated instead of congratulatory flowers received at the Alumni Association event held on the 26th of last month to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Ungchon Elementary School, adding special meaning to the donation.

Chairman Kim Jeong-su said, “The alumni held the 100th anniversary event at their alma mater where they nurtured their dreams, and with the sincerity gathered from the event, we decided to donate to help neighbors in need in the Ungchon area.”
