This light festival was planned to bring comfort and hope through light to citizens tired from the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and to revitalize the local economy by inducing stay-type tourism through an urban night festival.
The autumn event, Jeongeupcheon Light Festival, where light, water, and music come together, offers abundant photo zones with splendid lighting, making it perfect for creating memorable photos with friends, lovers, and family this fall.
In particular, the light tunnel expressing Jeongeup’s four seasons (flowers) with cozy lighting and warm emotions, the lantern sculptures representing Jeongeup’s history, love, and children, and the mysterious atmosphere created by the attraction and invitation to light dyed in moonlight will showcase beautiful night views.
Also, the love light decorated in shapes of cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, and the moon, and the hope light that ripples like waves will provide citizens and tourists with unforgettable memories to enjoy the romance of autumn nights.

An SNS event giving gifts to visitors to the festival site will be held as well.
By adding Jeongeup City’s SNS account as a friend or posting photos with hashtags, participants will receive Ssanghwacha Street discount coupons and LED products.
A city official said, “The colorful and brilliant lights decorating Jeongeupcheon are expected to become lights of healing, recovery, and hope, brightly illuminating Jeongeup City,” and added, “We hope families, couples, and friends visit the festival site to create unforgettable memories.”
